RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with required call
• Schedule consists of 3, 12-hour shifts per week
• On-call requirement: one night per week and up to every other weekend
• Weekend and holiday requirement: up to every other weekend
• Floor-specific orientation: 2 shifts
• Scrub experience is highly preferred
• Work with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures (high acuity)
• Handle TAVR and Mitraclip procedures, some peripheral vascular cases
• Work in chest pain center accredited facility and STEMI tertiary referral center
• Use specialized equipment including Rotablator, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, Balloon Pump
• Work in 3-room cardiac catheterization lab performing approximately 3000 cases per year
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Radiation badge required (supplied by agency)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must complete DYS exam through UNA prior to contract signing (pass/fail with 2 attempts allowed)
• Two supervisory references required from cardiac cath lab modality (one within 12 months, one within 3 years)
• Use Cerner EMR system and Merge Hemodynamics for cath lab documentation
• Work alongside CV Techs or Rad Techs with cath lab experience
• Support services available: IV Team, 24/7 RT, 24/7 Pharmacy, Intensivist in-house
