Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4/10-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM with every other weekend shift from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM
• Perform CT procedures for both inpatient and outpatient settings including urgent care
• Must have GE experience - this is a deal breaker requirement
• Must be IV certified or IV competent to insert IVs
• Work with brand new GE dual energy scanner (GE VCT and Evo/Evolution equipment)
• Must be able to work independently as you will occasionally be alone
• Perform occasional CTA procedures (no coronal CTA)
• Calcium scoring on GE equipment is a huge plus
• Handle head CTs for falls and other imaging needs
• 3-5 years of experience required
• Massachusetts license and ARRT(CT) certification required
• Must be graduate of AMA approved educational program in Radiological Technology
• Required certifications: ARRT(CT), BLS Certification
• Follow hospital protocols for exam routines and produce quality studies efficiently
• Operate CT scanner QA, pressure injector, PACS units, and Meditech charting system
• Adjust and manipulate images to required specifications including windowing and contrast
• Complete administrative duties including tech editing, patient escort, and room preparation

The facility provides both inpatient and outpatient services with an associated urgent care center, maintaining Level 2 trauma capabilities. The organization focuses on efficient, high-quality imaging services and utilizes advanced systems including PACS, Meditech, and specialized radiological equipment to deliver comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to the community.
