RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts in a 10-bed Medical Surgical unit with telemetry capability on all beds
• 36-hour weekly guarantee with no cancellations
• Must have 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical acute care setting
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• PALS certification preferred
• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:5 days, 1:6 nights, 1:4 pediatrics (based on acuity level)
• Float to all Medical Surgical units and ICU when taking Medical Surgical overflow patients
• Support staff includes telemetry technicians, charge nurse, health unit coordinators, and patient care technicians
• Any color scrubs permitted (scrubs not provided by facility)
• Chart using Allscripts system
• BSN degree not required
• Cancellation policy allows 3 cancellations per 13-week assignment
• Nurse managers conduct rounds but do not provide direct patient care
