Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirements: 1-2 weeknight calls per week and 2 weekend calls per 6-week pay cycle
• Holiday call requirements apply
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Must live within 60-mile radius and submit driver's license
• Work in department with 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid suite handling 10-20 cases per day on average
• Assist in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles in the department
• Treat patients with STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, atrial fibrillation, and flutter
• Float within department when needed, only extreme circumstances require floating to other zone facilities
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), RCIS via CCI, ARRT (R) - if no ARRT (R), must obtain CO Fluoro license within one week
• Must have solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician experience, EP experience preferred
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Complete unit-specific orientation and adhere to scrub color/dress code requirements
• BSN not required
