Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech X-ray

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts
• 8-hour shifts are expected for day positions
• CT-experienced techs can be scheduled at 7:00 AM or 3:00 PM shifts
• General radiology techs without CT experience scheduled at 11:00 AM
• Graveyard shifts depend on experience level
• Weekend requirements vary by specialty and proficiency level
• Holidays covered by call
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Patients scheduled 1 per hour to accommodate inpatients and ER patients
• Work with typical hospital patients including ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• Use Cerner EMR system for charting
• Work with Siemens CT equipment (64 slice and 128 slice scanners)
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), Fluoroscopy permit, and California state certification
• Orientation varies by experience: 1 day with portables and 1 day in OR for non-CT techs, case-by-case for CT-experienced techs
• Venipuncture experience preferred but not required
• OR experience highly desirable
• Advanced certifications are a plus but not required
• Cancellation policy: up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for shorter assignments

Facility:

This acute care hospital operates a comprehensive radiology department with advanced imaging capabilities and modern equipment. The facility maintains a full radiology management team including coordinators, managers, and supervisors, typically scheduling 15 radiology technologists per 24-hour period. The department provides complete imaging services for emergency, surgical, inpatient, and outpatient populations with radiologist coverage both on-site and on-call as needed.
