RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts on Cardiac Tele unit (Tower 7)
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4
• 4 total weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule period
• Holiday coverage required based on unit needs
• No call or standby requirements
• Floating to all other applicable areas as needed
• Must have Level 1 Trauma experience
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
• Pass/fail SIMs Lab on day 1 including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Must maintain sterile field competency
• Care for post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients including CABG, MVR, STEMI, heart failure, and vascular repair cases
• Titrate drips including Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone
• Interpret common cardiac rhythms with tele tech support
• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow nasal cannula
• Use Cerner charting system
• BLS certification required
• Must have own vehicle for travel
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs (not provided)
• Natural hair color and no facial piercings required
• Men must be clean-shaven for fit testing
• 2-day unit-specific orientation provided
• Self-scheduling requests allowed with scheduler balance
