RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a large, busy, Level 1 trauma hospital environment
• Handle higher than normal patient ratios
• Seasoned traveler with academic hospital experience required
• Must be comfortable working with Stroke, Cardiac, and Neuro patients
• Pass/Fail testing administered at 7:00 AM on first day of orientation
• 80% passing score required, 70% allows re-test, below 70% results in contract cancellation
• Required to complete Med Exam, Unit specific Exam, and Dysthymia Exam
• Chart using EPIC system
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• BSN not required
• Acute care setting
• No call off policy in effect
• 14 days written cancellation notice required
