RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit with ICU-level acuity patients
• Care for patients boarding in PACU while waiting for ICU beds
• Manage patients waiting for beds beyond their normal recovery time
• ICU background required with experience in high-acuity critical care
• Must have experience with ventilators, vasoactive drips, and invasive monitoring
• Comfortable managing rapid patient deterioration and escalation of care
• Experience with kidney transplant post-operative care preferred
• Neuro IR procedure recovery experience including thrombectomy and aneurysm coiling
• Bariatric patient care experience with airway management expertise
• Must demonstrate strong prioritization and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication skills with anesthesia and surgical teams required
• Previous PACU exposure necessary
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions or exceptions
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• EPIC charting system used
• 14 days written cancellation notice required
• No call-off policy enforced
