Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech X-ray

Job Details:

• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, primarily afternoons/midnights (9:00 AM - 9:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, may need to cover 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekend coverage possibly required
• May need to provide standby coverage with 1-hour response time
• May float to cover OR when needed
• Perform all routine x-ray procedures and CT examinations including CTAs
• Handle approximately 10-20 CT scans and 100 x-ray exams per day
• Responsible for stocking and cleaning rooms
• Start IVs for outpatients only with nursing supervisor backup available if needed
• Work with GE x-ray equipment and Canon CT scanner (1 CT scanner, 2 x-ray rooms)
• Use EPIC EMR system and FUJI PACS system
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (R) - CT registration not required but training will be provided
• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license with submission
• Agency must provide radiation badge as facility will not provide
• Any color scrubs permitted
• On-site department orientation provided
