Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• 8-week assignment only - must start 05/11
• Work 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call requirements: 4 weeknights per month starting at 3:30 PM until 7:00 AM next morning
• Weekend call: typically 1 full weekend per month from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
• Holiday call may be assigned if holiday falls during contract
• Must remain within 30 minutes of hospital while on-call
• 5 days of unit-specific orientation with preceptor
• Minimum 3 years OR experience required with strong orthopedic background
• Endoscopy experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Must have BLS certification, ACLS recommended
• Blue scrubs provided per surgical services attire policy, OR shoes required
• Work with 4 surgical suites plus 1 endoscopy suite
• Handle average of 8 cases per day
• Common cases include orthopedic procedures, general surgery, gynecology, C-sections, and endoscopy
• Float to endoscopy as needed
• Assist with room turnover and cleaning duties
• Use Epic EMR system, TDOC for instrument tracking, and ProVation for endoscopy
• No scrubbing required for RNs

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
