Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with start times at either 6:30 AM or 1:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required, working every Saturday and Sunday starting at 6:30 AM
• Administer Roentgen rays and operate CT equipment
• Interface with various computer systems including electronic medical records and PACS systems
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
• Prepare and administer appropriate medications according to hospital policy
• Work with GE Systems and Epic EMR charting system
• Must be licensed by IEMA/Registered by ARRT
• Required certification: American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS CPR
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school in radiography required
• One year of X-ray, CT or MRI experience or completed CT accredited program preferred
• ARRT(CT) certification preferred
• Must wear required protective clothing including eye and face protection, gowns, gloves, radiation protective clothing and radiation monitoring device
• Subject to electrical, biohazards and radiant energy hazards
• Regular exposure to infectious agents through patient contact
• Physical demands include lifting, positioning, pushing and transferring patients
• Prolonged standing/walking required
• Must have manual dexterity and ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less
