Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No call requirements
• Work in a fast-paced environment performing approximately 65 scans per 24-hour period
• Operate GE VCT 64 slice and Siemens Somatom Definition 64 slice equipment
• Perform head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremity imaging
• Conduct biopsies and sterile tray setup with training provided if necessary
• Must have IV experience and ability to start IVs
• Work independently as the only tech during overnight shifts
• May work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation
• Must be able to multitask effectively in high-volume setting
• Complete 5-shift orientation with preceptor
• Use Cerner charting system and Intellirad/Intelliconnect PACS
• Must reside within 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: BLS, WV X-ray License, ARRT (CT) preferred or minimum 3-5 years CT experience
• WV CARES clearance required prior to start
• Any color scrubs acceptable as long as clean and professional

Facility:

This medical center features a comprehensive imaging department with two CT rooms and modern equipment. The facility maintains 24-hour radiology services with in-house radiologists until 5 PM and on-call coverage thereafter. The department operates with a team-based approach using 2,2,3 scheduling between teams and provides nursing support for IV administration and medication preparation. The facility emphasizes quality patient care while maintaining efficient workflow in a high-volume imaging environment.
