Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts on Med Surg Float unit with 61 combined beds
• Patient ratios: Days 1:5, Nights 1:6
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• Call or standby requirement with LCD
• Floating requirements - first to float
• Night shifts available
• Any scrub color allowed for dress code
• BLS certification required
• BSN degree not required
• Work with surgical patients including total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgery
• Care for medical patients with CHF, CVA, SOB, and diabetic issues
• Telemetry monitoring with monitor tech reading strips and RN confirmation
• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Nurse aids available with 1:15 ratio
• No drip titration required
• No charge nurse or house supervisor responsibilities
• EPIC charting system
• Unit-specific orientation with travel CBO and float checklist
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract, 3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
