RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Scheduled 5 days per week with call requirements
• On-call responsibilities: 1 night per week, every 5th or 6th weekend (Saturday/Sunday), and rotating holiday call
• Must be well-versed in all surgical procedures as facility does not have specialized teams for each service line
• Handle diverse cases including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
• Work with adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric patients
• Float to Pre/Post-op, PACU (if trained), and ER for trauma cases when needed
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must pass open-book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
• Work in 7 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suites
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Scrubs provided by facility
• One week of OR-specific orientation required
• Driver's license required and must live more than 50 miles from facility
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Maximum 4 shifts can be cancelled per 13-week assignment
