Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5-8 hour shifts preferred, Monday through Friday with varying times (9:30 AM-6:00 PM/8:30 AM-5:00 PM)
• Alternative schedules available: 4-9 hour shifts (7:30 AM-6:00 PM/8:00 AM-6:30 PM) or 4-10 hour shifts Sunday-Wednesday (9:00 PM-7:30 AM Sunday, 6:00 PM-4:30 AM Monday-Wednesday)
• One weekend per month requirement
• On-call requirement at least once a week with one weekend per month and 30-minute response time
• Memorial Day weekend availability preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certification
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Start IVs on outpatient cases required
• Operate 16-slice Siemens Emotion CT scanner with Bracco Injector
• Float coverage for Radiology, CT, Non-Invasive procedures (Holters, EKGs, Zio Monitors), scheduling, and registration
• Perform all body and orthopedic imaging including chest X-rays, knee X-rays, spines, skulls
• CT studies include angio CT (CTA Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Stroke) and CT abdomen/pelvis with contrast
• Average 1-15 scans/studies per day
• Steel gray scrub requirement (scrubs not provided)
• Artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas
• Use EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS (switching to Merge PACS)
• Department orientation provided
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive radiology department with modern imaging equipment including Siemens RF and CT systems, Carestream DRX Portable units, Phillips ultrasound, and GE MAC 5500 EKG equipment. The facility provides acute care services with radiologist coverage three days per week from 8:00-8:30 AM in-house, with offsite coverage remaining days and after-hours support through Real Radiology. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes EPIC electronic medical records for comprehensive patient management.
