RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with call requirements
• Required call one night per week and up to every other weekend
• Weekend and holiday requirements up to every other weekend
• First to float designation
• Work 3, 12-hour shifts per week
• Floor-specific orientation: 2 shifts
• Scrub experience is highly preferred
• Must wear radiation badge (supplied by agency)
• Work in 3-room cardiac cath lab performing approximately 3000 cases per year
• Handle diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures (high acuity)
• Assist with TAVR and Mitraclip procedures, some peripheral vascular cases
• Work with advanced equipment including Rotablator, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and Balloon Pump
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Use Cerner EMR system and Merge Hemodynamics for cath lab documentation
• BSN not required
• Must provide 2 supervisory references from cardiac cath lab modality (one within 12 months, one within 3 years)
• DYS exam through UNA required prior to contract signing (must be completed within 24-48 hours)
• Scrubs provided by facility

The facility is a STEMI tertiary referral center with Chest Pain center accreditation, equipped with advanced cardiac technology and staffed with CV techs and rad techs with specialized cath lab experience. The hospital maintains 24/7 pharmacy, respiratory therapy, IV team, and intensivist coverage to support comprehensive cardiac care.
