RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 0.9 FTE (3 nights per week)
• 12-hour shifts with 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Rotate holiday coverage for evening or day shifts
• No call or standby requirements
• No floating requirements
• Work in 20-bed stepdown/med-surg unit with stepdown ratios of 1:3 and floor ratios of 1:5-6
• Stepdown experience required
• Must be able to titrate drips including heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone
• Common patient diagnoses include respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
• Work with respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
• Telemetry monitoring available with strips monitored at Ruby
• Two nurse aids per shift for support
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
• Copy of unexpired driver's license required for submission
• Must reside within 50-mile radius
