Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 nine-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend call required approximately every 3rd weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Week night call required approximately 10 times per month
• Holiday call shared among staff (1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday)
• 30-minute call response time required
• Circulate and monitor cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology cases
• Provide pre and post procedure patient care and calls
• Work in combined cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology unit with 2 suites/labs
• Handle average of 4 cases per day (combination of cath and IR procedures)
• Treat patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, and pacemaker cases
• Cardiac catheterization experience required; interventional radiology experience preferred or willingness to learn
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), RCIS OR ARRT (CI)
• If no ARRT (R), must obtain Colorado fluoroscopy certification
• Use Epic EMR system, MacLab, and Siemens equipment
• Provided blue scrubs for dress code
• No floating to other facilities required
• Orientation completed over several days following facility orientation

The hospital maintains 24/7 cardiac coverage with cardiologists in-house during the day and on-call overnight, ensuring excellent patient care and clinical support for the cardiac cath lab team.
