RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call rotation required 10-11 days per month including holidays and weekends
• Call shifts Monday through Friday 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM with 15-minute response time
• Weekend call coverage Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
• Work as part of 3-person team (2 RNs and 1 tech)
• Handle cardiac procedures including peripheral interventions, cardiac catheterizations, PCIs, and device implantations
• Experience with IABP and IVUS required
• Familiarity with Acist injector preferred but will provide training
• May float to Non-Invasive CV unit to start IVs when needed
• Floor-specific orientation includes 2 shifts with preceptor and buddy call training
• Scrubs provided (RNs wear navy blue)
• Work with EPIC charting system and Xper dynamics system
• Handle 2-9 cases per day with average of 4-5 cases
• Adult-only patient population
