RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per schedule
• 50-mile radius restriction for local candidates
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience (within past 6 months) in operating room
• Strong Meditech charting system experience required
• Basic EKG competency required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• CNOR certification preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of Nursing Diploma program required
• BSN preferred
• Current valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license required
• Implement patient nursing care based on identified nursing diagnoses and care standards
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and clinical disciplines for patient care decisions
• Provide patient education and involve family/significant others as appropriate
• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans based on reassessment data
• Complete comprehensive documentation including nursing assessments, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain patient communication boards and perform hourly rounds
• Provide bedside shift reports and apply AIDET communication techniques
• Exposure Category I position with routine potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissues
• Client may call off or cancel up to one shift per two weeks
