RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with call responsibilities
• Call required minimally every other weekend from Friday 3:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
• Average of 12 call days per month including weekends, can range up to 18 depending on staffing
• 30-minute response time required when on call
• Holiday call assignments are rotating and assigned
• Handle approximately 8 cases per day on average in 2-bed cath lab
• Perform all cardiac invasive procedures except structural heart procedures
• Conduct peripheral procedures including carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Work with Cerner EMR system
• 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required
• Will consider candidates who do not scrub
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must complete DYS exam through Relias within 24-48 hours prior to contract signing
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Floor-specific orientation of 1-2 shifts depending on skill level
• No floating between units
• Must provide 2 supervisor references at submission
