Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Handle 1-4 cardiovascular cases weekly on average in 1 suite
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Weekend call required (typically 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), variable based on needs
• Weekday call required from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 30-minute call response time required
• Holiday shifts as needed
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Scrubbing preferred for RNs
• Scrubs provided
• Common procedures include CABGs, AVRs, Median Sternotomy, and AAA repairs
• May float to GI lab if experienced
• 2-shift floor orientation on average
• Minimum 2 years experience required, travel experience preferred
• Flexibility with scheduling required
• Union environment with friendly permanent staff
• BSN not required

This acute care healthcare facility operates a specialized cardiovascular operating room with 24/7 availability. The facility maintains a dedicated heart team that supports multiple service lines throughout the week to maximize productivity. The organization features modern equipment including GE telemetry systems and maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services. The facility operates in a union environment and provides comprehensive support with OR technicians, charge nurses, and team leads available.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
