RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday 10-hour shifts with one random day off during the week
• Take call approximately 4 times monthly with possible weekend coverage
• Must live within 30 minutes of hospital for call response
• General surgery experience position covering OB/GYN, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastics, and ENT procedures
• Work in acute care setting with Level 3 trauma designation
• Utilize MEDITECH 6.15 charting system
• Work in facility with 7 OR suites but typically run 4-5 operating rooms
• Support approximately 5,000 procedures performed annually
• Handle diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics, urology, plastics, podiatry, ENT, ophthalmology, and OB/GYN
• BLS certification required
• BSN degree not required
• Cancellation policy allows 1 shift per 4 weeks with overtime shifts subject to cancellation
