Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Sonographer - Vascular Sonographer
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with call responsibilities
• On-call duties include at least 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
• 13-week assignment length
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Inpatient experience at a large hospital required due to high volume
• Pediatrics experience preferred but not required
• Previous travel experience highly preferred but not required
• Required certifications: BLS Certification, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS
• EPIC charting proficiency required - training not offered in orientation
• Flu vaccine required by November 15th deadline with limited medical exemptions
• Equipment used includes PACs ComPacs system, Philips iE33 and EPIQ ultrasound equipment, Parks Flow segmental machine, and Dolphin IQ TCD machine
• Cover adult hospital, children's hospital, and women and infants hospital
• One sonographer goes portable each day while transport brings patients to department
• Perform various Doppler exams including carotid, segmental, venous, bypass grafts, dialysis grafts, transcranial, and mesenteric/renal
• Must complete onboarding Wednesday prior to start date and orientation begins on Monday
• 50 mile radius rule applies for local candidates
• Mississippi fingerprint requirement with 10-day processing time for remote or in-person options available

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
