Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with every other weekend requirement
• First to float when staffing adjustments are needed
• Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases once per week
• Weekend call requirement once per month from Friday evening through Monday morning
• Work in a 5-suite facility handling 10-22 cases per day on average
• Cases performed with 2 technologists (1 scrubs, 1 monitors hemodynamics)
• Handle cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention procedures
• Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, and airway management
• Experience required with cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
• Must be comfortable working with balloon pumps
• Current cath lab experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy
• Will NOT accept RCIS or CCT certifications
• Charting system: Cerner
• Agency provides radiation badge
• Hospital cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
