Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• Must have 5+ years of nursing experience and at least 1 travel assignment
• MEDITECH experience required
• Must complete orientation within first week
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Approximately 180-200 patient visits per day
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• Auto lunch deductions apply
• 75-mile radius rule enforced
• Driver's license address must be provided with submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI
• Nurses perform their own lab draws and IV starts
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• Work with pediatric to geriatric patients including trauma cases
• Handle stroke center patients and various trauma cases
• 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatry
• Floor-specific orientation consists of 2 shifts
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
• MEDITECH 6.15 electronic medical record system

This acute care hospital operates a high-volume emergency department handling approximately 180-200 patient visits daily. The facility features a comprehensive trauma center, stroke center capabilities, and specialized behavioral health unit with 6-bed lockdown area. The emergency department is supported by 24/7 respiratory therapy, pharmacy services, central monitoring technicians, and dedicated security staff. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology including MEDITECH 6.15 EMR system and provides comprehensive emergency care from pediatric to geriatric populations.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
