RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
• Holiday requirement: Rotate evening or day shifts
• No call or standby requirements
• No floating requirements
• Stepdown nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3, Med Surg ratio of 1:5-6
• 20-bed unit with stepdown and medical surgical patients
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Stepdown experience required
• Must be able to titrate drips including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone
• Care for patients with respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
• Work with RT equipment including CPAP, BiPap, and high flow oxygen
• Telemetry monitoring available with strips read at Ruby
• Two nurse aides per shift for support
• House supervisor available for charge nurse support
• EPIC charting system
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• Must reside within 50-mile radius of facility
• Valid unexpired driver's license copy required for submission
• West Virginia nursing license required
