Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Echo Technologist - Echo Tech
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday with 4x10 hour shifts or 5x8 hour shifts available
• Shift options: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities from 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM and 24 hours on weekends and holidays, rotating with staff
• Perform average of 35-50 studies per day depending on staffing levels
• Cover both inpatient and outpatient areas
• Common studies include Echo, TEE, and Stress echos
• Work with Phillips Epics equipment
• Use Sunrise EMR and Allscripts charting system
• Must have at least 1 year of active scanning experience within the last 2 years
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) via ARDMS
• Must submit copy of unexpired driver's license and comply with 50 mile radius rule
• Professional appearance required with any color scrubs
• Hospital orientation on Monday, followed by department orientation Tuesday through Friday
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13 week contract

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
