Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend requirement: yes
• 13-week assignment length
• Float within skillset to NSO, ON, and Telemetry as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 21-bed unit with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Manage patients with CHF, Afib with RVR, hypoxia/SOB, post-cardiac procedures
• Care for patients post-CABG/valve surgery with chest tubes and epicardial wires
• Handle post-endarterectomy, PPM/ICD insertion, and VATS/thoracotomy patients
• Manage BiPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and stable tracheostomy patients
• Perform arterial sheath removal and invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Administer thrombolytic medications and conduct assessments every 2-4 hours
• Operate CHEETAH monitoring systems
• Work with Vapotherm high flow oxygen, arterial lines, TR bands, IV pumps
• Manage wound vacs, chest tubes, epicardial wires with pacer boxes, PCA pumps, and epidurals
• Titrate vasoactive drips including Nicardipine, Nitroglycerin up to 100mcg, Amiodarone, and Dopamine
• Monitor Dobutamine/Milrinone at set rates
