Description
Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirement applies
• 13-week assignment starting ASAP with weekly starts
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio on a 21-bed unit
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Float within skillset to NSO, ON, and Telemetry units as needed
• Manage common diagnoses including CHF, Afib with RVR, hypoxia/SOB, post-cardiac procedures
• Handle post-surgical patients including CABG/valve procedures, endarterectomy, PPM/ICD insertion
• Perform special procedures including arterial sheath removal, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, thrombolytic administration
• Conduct assessment activities and therapeutic interventions every 2-4 hours
• Operate common equipment including Vapotherm high flow oxygen, A-lines, IV pumps, wound vacs, chest tubes, epicardial wires
• Titrate vasoactive drips including Nicardipine, Nitroglycerin, Amiodarone, and Dopamine
• Monitor patients with BiPAP/CPAP, stable airways/tracheostomies, and CHEETAH monitoring systems

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
