Description
Opportunity:
RN - PCU Tele
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Lower patient-to-nurse ratios in a teaching hospital environment
• Specialize in heart and vascular care with focus on cardiac telemetry
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required to float to other facilities within 25 miles as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NISS, and active RN license
• Burgundy scrubs provided by facility
• Use Cerner documentation system
• Handle top diagnoses including chest pain, STEMI, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, peripheral vascular disease, and coronary heart disease
• Manage post-operative patients including post open heart, AAA repair, and wound care
• Support electrophysiology procedures such as PPM, ablations, EPS, AICD, TAVR, and Mitralclips
• Perform special procedures including cardioversions, TEE, thoracentesis/pleurocentesis, and occasional EGD/colonoscopy
• Provide post heart catheterization recovery care (no sheaths)
• Work with common equipment including EKG machines, SCD machines, Baxter IV pumps, wound vacs, and suction machines

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
