Opportunity:

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Perform medical mammograms to diagnose disease or trauma
• Program mammography equipment for correct density, contrast, definition, magnification and distortion
• Prepare, maintain and operate mammography equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Follow appropriate radiation safety guidelines
• Perform and document all QA/QC tests as defined by MQSA
• Required to work on Mobile Mammography Van when needed, including some weekends
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography required within 2 years from date of hire
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program required
• 2 years experience in a Radiologic Technologist position required
• 1 year experience in Mammography preferred
• Required certifications: Registered Technologist (R) (M), Mammography Quality Standards Act, Basic Life Support
