Opportunity:

RN - ICU Float Pool

Job Details:

• Float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders
• May also float to Women's and Family units if needed
• Patient ratios will not exceed 1:3 when assigned to any unit/hospital
• Normally assigned 24 hours in advance to any unit/hospital
• May be pulled mid-shift to float to any unit or hospital
• 48 guaranteed weekly hours available for night shift only
• Assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under physician direction
• Collaborate with patients, family members, professional peers and healthcare team members
• Direct nursing support staff in provision of patient care
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year experience in area of clinical specialty preferred
• Required certifications: PA Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Knowledge of nursing principles, theories, current methods and techniques required
• Use nursing process to individualize patient care according to standards and policies
