Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Saturday/Sunday plus one weekday (varies based on need)
• 36 hours per week, 3x12 hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Call responsibilities: weekday prior to shift 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday requirements to be determined
• 2 years of experience required
• Assist with IR procedures performed in CT areas by operating the CT scanner during cases
• Responsible for scanning and managing CT equipment during IR cases
• Work under general supervision of radiologist with dedicated IR technologist and nurse present
• Plan and perform all CT procedures and post processing using advanced technology
• Operate CT Scanners, power injectors and computer systems to acquire diagnostic images
• Maintain knowledge to operate different CT Systems at multiple locations
• Perform CT Interventional Procedures and CTA imaging including carotid, head, vertebral, run-offs, PE critical bolus timing
• Handle advanced CTA studies such as TAVR and EVAR procedures
• Maintain working knowledge of pharmacology to ensure proper lab results prior to scheduled exams
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization and protective shielding
• Maintain protocols based on ImageGently Guidelines and dose monitoring systems
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology required
• Must have knowledge of radiation safety, medical equipment management, and ability to work independently
