Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work in Intermediate Care unit as part of Float Pool
• ICU nursing experience required
• Patient population includes Med/Surg, PCU, and ICU patients
• Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2 (never exceeding 3:1 on any unit)
• Float between IMCU and step-down units only (not floated to med/surg units)
• Manage complex withdrawal syndromes, hypertensive conditions, and DKA patients
• Care for patients with opioid use disorder requiring continuous drips and alcohol withdrawal protocols
• Monitor hemodynamically stable patients on Precedex
• Administer insulin infusions and perform frequent glucose monitoring for DKA patients
• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under physician direction
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to individualize care
• Direct nursing support staff according to nursing practice standards
• 2 years experience in clinical specialty and general RN experience required
• Graduate of accredited nursing school required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• PA or MSL Compact Registered Nurse License required
• Basic Life Support certification required, additional certifications per order check
