Opportunity:

RN - ICU Med Surg

Job Details:

• Float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders at Women's and Family or Main Campus
• Care for patients similar to MICU/RICU with additional focus on preeclampsia, eclampsia, hypertensive mothers, hyperemesis, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Patient ratios will not exceed 1:3 when assigned to any unit/hospital
• Normally assigned 24 hours in advance to any unit/hospital
• May be pulled mid-shift to float to any unit or hospital
• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under physician direction
• Use nursing process to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Direct nursing support staff according to standards of practice and departmental policies
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year experience in clinical specialty area preferred
• Required certifications: PA Registered Nurse License, BLS - Basic Life Support
