RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Float Pool

Job Details:

• Choose between 36 or 48-hour work weeks with overtime beginning after 48 hours
• Provide care to ICU boarders in the PACU unit with expected trauma overflow patient population
• Float to ED for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on need and census
• Unit operating hours are Monday 7:00 AM to Saturday 7:00 PM with no Sundays
• Blocked scheduling will be considered
• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under licensed physician direction
• Collaborate with patients, families, peers, and healthcare team members to individualize patient care
• Direct nursing support staff in patient care provision according to nursing practice standards
• Graduate of accredited nursing school required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year experience in clinical specialty area preferred
• Previous trauma training not required
• Required licenses and certifications: PA Registered Nurse License and Basic Life Support
