Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Job Details:

• Perform medical mammograms to diagnose disease or trauma
• Program machine for correct density, contrast, definition, magnification and distortion
• Prepare, maintain and operate mammography equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Follow appropriate radiation safety guidelines
• Perform and document all QA/QC tests as defined by MQSA
• Work on Mobile Mammography Van when needed, including some weekends
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program required
• 2 years experience in a Radiologic Technologist position required
• 1 year experience in Mammography preferred
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography required within 2 years from date of hire
• Required certifications: Registered Technologist (R) (M), Mammo Quality Standards Act, Basic Life Support
