Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work evening/night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week totaling 36 hours
• Call responsibilities required
• ARRT certification required
• Washington State certification as radiologic technologist, registered in X Ray required
• Shimadzu portable experience required
• Rad speed pro, GE/OEC c arms with OR experience required
• EPIC experience required
• BLS certification required
• Prepare for and perform all CT examinations while operating assigned equipment safely
• Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality
• Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective scanner utilization
• Maintain cleanliness of scanner and associated equipment per infection control policies
• Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision
• Follow all universal blood and body substance precautions and PPE requirements
• Comply with continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities
• Utilize current EMR efficiently and complete required paperwork for each examination
• Lift and transfer patients using safe ergonomic techniques and hydraulic lifts
• Communicate with patient family members or caregivers when necessary
