Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• CNOR certification required
• Minimum 2 years of previous perioperative and surgical management experience required
• Must have documented experience with management
• Work with Meditech EMR system
• Ensure optimal efficiency in daily flow throughout surgical services
• Evaluate and assess daily schedule and staffing plans, making adjustments to clinical assignments as necessary
• Respond to real-time changes including add-on cases, late running cases, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and department chiefs to balance daily changes while maintaining departmental efficiency
• Must be competent for on-call duties across all specialties
• Required competencies include: Orthopedic trauma, total joints (hip, knee, shoulder, reverse shoulders), vascular procedures, GYN procedures, general surgery, colorectal procedures, ENT, urology, spine procedures, and trauma cases
• Must be strong in orthopedic trauma procedures
• No cardiovascular or burn cases
• Facility is starting thoracic program but no on-call requirements for thoracic
