Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling available but never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be current)
• Active NY nursing license required with all RN licenses verified through NURSYS
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• 2 recent ED Charge/Manager RN references required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Must provide RTO at time of submission

This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive 64-bed Emergency Department featuring 2 triage areas, 40 acute care beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 psychiatric beds. The emergency department handles complex cases including stroke, sepsis, trauma, cardiac events, and respiratory emergencies, maintaining high standards of emergency medical care.
