Opportunity:

Critical Care FLOAT - MVHS-Wynn-Floats 2000166

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Float pool position - can be floated to any unit within the hospital except Psychiatry and Emergency Department (unless managing holds)
• May float to Medical-Surgical units and take assignments with 6-7 patients
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Active New York RN license required at time of submission
• NURSYS Report License verification with all active RN licenses required
• EMR system: Epic
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
• Work with specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM
• Manage patients with diagnoses including strokes, sepsis, altered mental status, neuro interventions, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative surgery
• 42-bed critical care unit capacity
