Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems
• Manage chronic ventilator patients who are unable to wean with respiratory therapist assistance
• Serve adult patient population (18 years and older)
• Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds
• Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active NY nursing license required
• 2 recent IMCU Charge/Manager RN references required
