Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• 2+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience documentation required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS report verification
• 2 recent ED Charge/Manager RN references required
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Treat patients across all age groups from newborns to geriatrics
• Work in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage beds, 40 acute care beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psychiatric beds

The emergency department features specialized areas including trauma bays, clinical decision unit beds, psychiatric beds, and fast-track capabilities, equipped with advanced medical technology to support comprehensive emergency care across all age groups.
