Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required
• Travel experience documented on resume required
• Required certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification for all RN licenses
• 2 recent IMCU Charge/Manager RN references required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems
• Manage chronic ventilator patients unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance
• Treat adult patients ages 18 and older
• Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neurology beds
