Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience must be documented
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must provide 2 recent ED Charge/Manager RN references
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Treat patients of all ages: newborn, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric populations
• Work in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage areas, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psychiatric beds
