Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend, holiday, and call responsibilities required
• 13-week assignment duration
• Must have completed at least 1 successful travel assignment - new travelers not considered
• Subject to 100-mile radius rule
• Current critical care experience preferred
• May be required to assume charge nurse duties
• Must possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care
• Ability to assess patient needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects
• Must recognize safety issues and safely assess/implement patient lifts and movements
• Ability to function well in stressful situations with creative problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate
• Required certifications: Current NYS RN license, BLS, ACLS, IV and IV contrast certification
• PALS preferred
• Must complete coronary care course or challenge exam within orientation period
• Basic lethal dysrhythmia certification required within six months
• NIHSS certification required within first 6 months
• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing required
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required
