Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Charge nurse experience highly preferred
• Must have 2+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
• Travel experience required
• Heart experience highly preferred - manager prioritizing these candidates
• Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex equipment
• Required certifications: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS report verification
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Navy scrubs required
• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Work with specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Arctic Sun)
• Care for patients with various diagnoses including strokes, sepsis, cardiovascular surgery, trauma, and major post-operative cases
• Work in 42-bed unit divided into East (20 beds), West (22 beds), with Neuro/Med (22 beds), CTICU (6 beds), and Surg/Trauma (14 beds)
