Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36-hour guarantee per week
• Charge nurse experience highly preferred
• Must have 2+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
• Heart experience highly preferred - top priority for manager
• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Navy scrubs required
• Required certifications: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active NY nursing license required
• Work in 42-bed unit with East (20 beds), West (22 beds), including Neuro/Med (22 beds), CTICU (6 beds), and Surg/Trauma (14 beds)
• Common patient diagnoses include strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro intervention, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative surgery
• Use specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
