Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend, holiday, and call requirements
• 13-week assignment duration
• Must be located within 100-mile radius of facility
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required
• Current critical care experience preferred
• Must have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment - new travelers will not be considered
• Current New York State RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Basic lethal dysrhythmia certification required within six months of employment
• NIHSS certification required within the first 6 months of employment
• May be required to assume charge nurse duties
• Must possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care
• Ability to assess patient's clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
• Must recognize safety issues and implement safe patient handling techniques
• Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required
• Must function well in stressful situations with creative problem-solving skills
